Nik Hisham Nik Abdul Halim is a senior partner of the firm. He is a licensed patent agent, trade mark and industrial design agent. He was conferred with an LL.B. 2nd Class (Upper) (Hons.) degree by Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia (“UIAM”). He read in the chambers of Encik Zainuddin Ismail of Messrs. Abdullah & Zainuddin. He was then admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in April 1993.
His expertise involves matters related to Corporate Finance, Mergers and Acquisitions, Software and Information Technology Law; Multimedia and Communication; Corporate due diligence; Intellectual Property; Energy and Petroleum Law; Patent Agent (PA/ 2000/ 0108); Trade Mark Agent (3892); and Industrial Designs Agent.
FAKIHAH AZAHARI

Fakihah Azahari is senior partner of Nik Hisham, Fakihah & Co. law firm. She has been in practise for more than 20 years. She graduated in LL.B (Hons) at International Islamic University Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur in 1991.
She was then admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in April 1992 and also as Shariah Counsel of the Selangor Shariah High Court in the same year.
Fakihah Azahari is a certified Mediator accredited under The Accord Group, Australia and underwent Advance Course on Negotiation from the same. She is a fellow of the U.K. Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. She is also an Independent Director of Muamalat Invest Sdn Bhd, (licensed fund manager, subsidiary of Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad); and Director of an offshore bank, Middle East Investment Bank, Labuan.
Fakihah Azahari served as an external lecturer in Islamic Finance Contracts (post graduate level) and law foundation centre (Introduction to Islamic Law), International Islamic University Malaysia. She was a Researcher for the Law Harmonisation Committee, Central Bank Malaysia. She was involved as a banking committee of the International Chambers Commerce for the Malaysian chapter. In addition to that, she was an EPP leader for Islamic Finance outsourcing under Business Services lab, a project under National Key Economic Area initiatives, Prime Minister’s Department.

ABD AZIZ ABDUL RAHMAN

Abd Aziz Abdul Rahman was conferred with an LL.B. (Hons) degree by the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur. He read in the chambers of Mr. Wong Chong Wah of Messrs Skrine & Co and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on 23rd March 1990. He joined the firm in 2011 and provide consultancy work to the firm.
His expertise involves matters related to Civil and Criminal Litigation; General Litigation; Recovery of Debt and Civil Breach of Contract; Banking and Corporate Advisory work; and also on Investment (both local and foreign), Corporate Exercise and Cooperative Law.
